Should other listing portals be worried? We believe so!

Under One Roof is an entirely new concept set to solve some of the most frustrating problems encountered with other property listing websites. It is also positioned to challenge the dominance of the handful of existing property-listing platforms that have amassed a following due to their monopoly, and that appear to have stagnated in the manner in which they service property practitioners.

Simultaneously, Under One Roof heralds the entry of a new female real estate CEO, Lynne Krawchuk, who is set to change the traditionally heavily male dominated property executive clique. Her decades of experience as a marketing professional give Under One Roof the edge when it comes to converting website visitors to loyal clients, putting their needs and wants ahead of merely presenting a search engine of listings.

“We are going to completely change the way properties are showcased,” says Krawchuk. “We will reveal the power of delivering an innovative property ecosystem that will optimise the property practitioner or agency’s own marketing efforts to elevate and strengthen their brand exposure through a full suite of services.”

One of these services, and a valuable differentiator, is the track-ability of individually listed properties. Under One Roof can provide analytics that help agents to better understand the market and buying audience. “They won’t need to crunch the numbers themselves,” says Krawchuk. “Instead, and through a unique login aligned to their own customised backend dashboard, agents will have access to stats such as how many visitors have viewed their listed properties, how they have undertaken their search, and what they are focusing on.

“These digestible takeaways can be enormously helpful in boosting existing internal marketing efforts, which is critical to the outcomes agents and agencies want to achieve. The only way real estate marketing is truly effective is to firstly generate interest in your business and service offerings, and secondly convert those leads into customers. By listing with Under One Roof, a third benefit comes into play; that of enhanced credibility by being associated with a new, contemporary platform that attracts visitors because it is a unique homeownership resource-concentrated hub.”

The benefits from listing on Under One Roof will be particularly welcomed by the small-, micro-, and medium-sized property players, who have been severely compromised by market conditions such as diminishing property prices and the weakened purchasing power of consumers. “They can no longer afford to list on the major platforms that have not adjusted their listing price packages in line with market conditions. This has resulted in an uneven playing field, which was revealed in our canvassing of national estate agents who shared their frustrations and ambitions with us.”

Under One Roof has taken steps to address these concerns by presenting a one-off three or six-month listing fee. This subscription comes with a unique twist, explains Krawchuk. “If the property is sold before the subscription expires, the outstanding months of the package can be transferred to another property listing, provided the first property sale is proven. We can even upload listings if that is preferred, at no charge – giving back to the consumer.”

Also at no charge is free branding for estate agents. And there’s more … Under One Roof

will be aggressively driving its own marketing campaign across popular digital and social media, seemingly something that its competitors have failed to do. “These messages will be targeted to reach different demographic markets who make vastly different lifestyle choices. We will never apply a one-size-fit-all solution as has become common with other tech-driven listing platforms. Whilst tech is helpful, it also depersonalises the property journey for agents/agencies, buyers, sellers, renters, developers, landlords, and other property stakeholders.”

As Under One Roof grows, so too will the breadth of the platform. “Beyond the necessary and expected features, we will also be presenting some unique concepts to the SA market. Commercial and retail properties will also be introduced,” says Krawchuk.

“We believe that Under One Roof is the most intelligent, powerful, transparent, and streamlined real estate game-changer since property listings went online in the late 90s,” she emphasises. “The team at Under One Roof is intentional about manifesting change in the market by filling the gaps that have been prevalent for too long. And, while others may think we are a disruptor, we disagree! We prefer to think of ourselves as renegades by challenging the existing, staid, and unadventurous status quo.”
